ICF to Provide Software Support Services to DCMA's eTools Program
FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 29, 2009--
ICF Information Technology, LLC, a subsidiary of ICF International
(NASDAQ:ICFI), was recently awarded a recompete contract by the Defense
Contract Management Agency (DCMA) to provide software support services
to the agency’s Information Technology Customer Service Organization
(ITCSO) and the eTools program. The three-year agreement, which includes
one base and two option years, started in April 2009 and is valued at
$9.3 million.
DCMA works directly with defense suppliers to ensure efficient,
cost-effective delivery of supplies and services to the Department of
Defense (DoD) and federal and allied government agencies. eTools is
DCMA’s Web-based suite of mission-oriented applications that are used by
DCMA customers and industry trading partners to help them perform
acquisition services more accurately and efficiently. eTools also
provides DCMA customers with convenient applications for managing
workloads and administering contracts.
Under the contract, ICF is providing expert project management and
technology services through highly trained staff who understand DCMA’s
mission and how the agency’s business requirements can be met through
useful technology tools. Specific tasks include software and database
development and maintenance, business intelligence reporting, technology
training, and service-oriented architecture.
“ICF has a long standing history with DCMA and we are excited to have
the opportunity to continue to serve them for three more years,” said
Ellen Glover, ICF executive vice president for Technology and
Management Solutions. “Our knowledge of DCMA processes translates into
better integration of technology solutions and better results for the
agency’s customers.”
